OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES FOR VALENTINES SNAPSHOT CONTEST
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Open only to residents of the United States, except Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Washington and Puerto Rico, who are 19 years of age or older as of January 14, 2010, and satisfy all eligibility requirements and these official rules. Employees of Omaha World-Herald Company (the ŌSponsorĶ), its subsidiaries and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children and their spouses) are not eligible. Your photo submission will be your official entry into the photo contest. Void Where Prohibited.
HOW TO ENTER:
A. ONLINE ENTRY: You must enter online at www.Momaha.com. Go to Photos and click on Submit Photos. All entries must be received by no later than Monday, February 5, 2010 (5:00 p.m.). You must also complete other information requested in the contest's official online entry form.
B. ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY: You may also enter the contest by mailing a postcard with your name, address and phone number to Momaha Snapshot Contest, 1314 Douglas Street, Suite 600, Omaha, NE 68102.
C. All entry forms, regardless of method of entry, must be received at such office by no later than Monday, Friday, February 5, 2010, 5p.m. to be eligible for the contest. A winner will be chosen from all eligible entries. All entries must include one photo title, Caption, Byline/Credit, name of child, your name, phone number and email address. The same photo can not be entered more than once. Entries (which include any photo submitted and any information on an entrantÕs official entry form) may be published by the Omaha World-Herald in its sole discretion in any form of media at any time, including but not limited to publication on Momaha.com, omaha.com or in the Omaha World-Herald newspaper. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or damaged are void and will not be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected, lost, late, damaged or postage due entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
D. An entrant in this contest may only submit a photo for which the entrant owns all right, title and interest and the entrant must have obtained the permission of all persons identifiable in the photo to submit any photo in this contest. Submission of any photo constitutes the entrantÕs representation that the conditions in this paragraph have been satisfied. Each entrant shall hold the Omaha World-Herald harmless from claims of any third party relating to publication by the Omaha World-Herald of the photo or any information provided by the entrant in any form of media, including but not limited to publication in the Omaha World-Herald newspaper or on its websites, Momaha.com and omaha.com. By submitting any photo, the entrant grants the Omaha World-Herald the rights and privileges set forth in these rules.
ENTRY CONSTITUTES PERMISSION TO PUBLISH.
Any photo submitted during the contest (and any information submitted by the entrant on the online entry form) may be published in the Omaha World-Herald newspaper and/or Momaha.com or omaha.com, or in any other form of media, at any time and for any length of time, including but not limited to publication for any marketing, advertising or other form of promotion for this contest or similar future travel photo contest by Sponsor. In addition, the editorial staff of Sponsor will look at all photos that have been submitted and select in their sole discretion the winning photo. All submitted photos may also be published online at Momaha.com or omaha.com. In order to promote this contest, or any future photo contest by Sponsor, photos submitted during this contest may be published in the newspaper, online or other media ads, promoting this contest or any future contests, and such publication does not entitle the entrant or any other person to any form of compensation.
SELECTION OF WINNER AND PRIZE:
At the end of the contest the editorial staff of Sponsor will look at all eligible photos that have been submitted and select in their sole discretion the winning photo. The prize awarded will be a Gift Card from Regency Court. The winner will be notified promptly after the drawing. All taxes and all other expenses or liabilities associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of each winner.
Each winnerÕs photo and name (and other information submitted by the entrant) may in SponsorÕs sole discretion be posted (in a form and format and for such duration as determined by the Sponsor) on both the Omaha World-Herald newspaper and on Momaha.com or omaha.com, and may be used in any promotion or advertising of this contest or similar future photo contests by Sponsor. Entry in the promotion or acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to publish each winnerÕs name, information submitted pursuant to contest entry, and photo submission in any form of media.
DISCLAIMER:
Each winner assumes all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the promotion and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize. Each winner hereby releases the Omaha World-Herald, Momaha.com, omaha.com and each of their respective officers, directors and employees, from any such liability. Entry or acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to use or publish each winnerÕs name, information submitted pursuant to contest entry, and the submitted photograph in any form of media for purposes of advertising promotion and publicity without additional compensation, and the Omaha World-Herald is released from all liability relating to use or publishing each winnerÕs name and/or the submitted photograph in any form of media in any manner.
MISCELLANEOUS:
This contest is sponsored by the Omaha World-Herald. Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw or cancel this promotion at any time for any reason and award the prize from among the eligible entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal or cancellation. Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from this promotion any person it believes has violated these rules.
