Spaghetti dinner: St. Bernadette Men’s Club will host its 38th annual spaghetti dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Parish Hall, 7600 S. 42nd St. All-you-can-eat spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, drinks and dessert will be $7.50 for adults and $4 for children. Guest speaker: The Rev. Jay West, an evangelist and author, will be the guest speaker at the 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday services at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2941 N. 80th St.
World Day of Prayer service: On Friday, some area churches will celebrate the World Day of Prayer with a special event developed by the Women of France WDP Committee. The service, based on Matthew 25, is dedicated to immigration, migration and life experience as Christian women in a multicultural society. The theme is “I Was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me.” Area services include:

Choir concert: The Martin Luther College Choir of New Ulm, Minn., will present “Wait on the Lord” at 7 p.m. Friday at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4040 N. 108th St. The concert, featuring music by Bach, Sweelinck, Holz and Mealor, is part of the choir’s spring tour. The public is invited. An offering will be taken to help with the choir’s travel expenses.
Youth fashion show: The Dundee Presbyterian Church youth groups will be presenting Tip Top Thrift Shop clothing at a fashion show at 11:30 a.m. March 2 at the church. The show is a benefit to raise money for Dundee youth camp vouchers and Youth Emergency Services.
