Not just any spring break

For the past seven years, more than 1,000 University of Nebraska at Omaha students have done something different with their spring break.

This year is no different.

Instead of heading home or hitting the beach, students starting this weekend will paint houses, clean up yards and do other work for those in need as part of UNO's 8th annual 7 Days of Service.

We can help, too. And they want us there.

What do you say, moms?

Interested in helping? We'd sign up for a one-day shift. We'd be Team Momaha. They'd let us paint a house.

Let me know here please if you want to help (click "more" to leave a comment). If there's enough interest, I'll sign us up. Days are March 13 and 15-20.

I would do it one afternoon or weekend day. I'm not sure if anyone would really want me to paint their house. :)
